Day 1: Vast Plains and the Largest Public Ranch in Japan
Route Description: The journey begins on the expansive Tokachi Plains, leading to the Naitai Highland Farm, Japan’s largest public ranch. Here, cyclists will navigate mountain roads aiming for the Sky Terrace at Naitai Highland, experiencing a climb that feels as though ascending into the sky, set against a backdrop of pastoral beauty.
Day 2: Challenging the Highest Pass in Hokkaido
Early Morning Ride to Mikuni Pass: Start the day with an ambitious climb to Mikuni Pass, the highest pass in Hokkaido at an elevation of 1,139 meters. From the summit, enjoy a thrilling downhill ride, then continue to Lake Nukabetsu, known as the 'Sky Lake,' where the northern loop of Tokapuchi 400 begins.
